[Boss Battle Theme]

Personally i think a improvement would be to remove the constant "clapping" that you have from the start to end, it will make the tune more ambient and to be honest it kinda annoyed me as it sounded out of place and broke the ambient.

However the tune overall sound ambient and maybe even a bit horror-ish, i could hear this in a horror themed game with boss battles, something like silent hill perhaps.

So 3 and a half for me, good luck on your future projects.

Yay! I finally got some criticism!!! I was debating on changing the clap so it at least sounded like it would fit better with the beat especially after the second chorus but i never thought about getting rid of it. It will lose its sega genesis like sound to it but i do agree that it would be an improvement. When i get the chance I will change it and see if I will also have to change a few other things to make it sound ok! Thanks for the response!

Hmmm it sounds familiar

This tune sounds like its a little inspired by the style "Shin megami tensei" is using in their games.

For me this sounds like it could be used in more like a quiet nightboorhood than a up town tune.

but i give you 9/10 for the effort, dont let everyone take ya down!

Excellent

Pretty good actually a little metal/industrial sound now and then on newgrounds is good for my ears, you did a pretty good job, even the lyrics may be a little low it made a good addition to the background music.

I have nothing special to point out that people havent said to now..
so i give my normal 3:

A remake of this song which havent destroyed the essence in the melody, and even seem a bit related to the game its from...
Or perhaps i have been unlucky looking for remakes/remixes of this tune, but most of them seems to totally screw it over...?

Anyway; left on repeat for an hour at least... may it be that i cant be bothered to change tune, or just because its awsome... thats up to you to decide ;)

I must say that you improved greatly since this were made, and you started out good aswell..

Started out? I've been doing this for a loooooooong time, man. 10 years I think? The ones I made when I first started are soooooo bad. That was before shit like Fruity Loops even existed. I used to use a program called Impulse Tracker, which is actually the same program Infected Mushroom started out using. It's not a good program, tho. Don't go running out to download it or anything lol. ^^
